The De La Warr Pavilion In Bexhill, East Sussex is a Grade One Listed Modernist icon for contemporary arts on the sea-front in Bexhill on sea, just over one and a half hours from London. As well as being one of this country‘s architectural landmarks, it also has an enviable reputation as home to some of the best contemporary art on the international circuit today, exhibited in two beautifully restored galleries.
Artists who have exhibited here include Jeremy Deller, Nathan Coley, Tomoko Takahashi, Richard Wilson and Susan Collins whilst group shows have included Sam Taylor-Wood, Alex Soth, Willie Docherty, Cindy Sherman and Mark Wallinger. Twentieth century artists who have had retrospectives in our galleries include Ben Nicholson, Joesph Beuys and John Cage.
The De La Warr Pavilion is on the sea-front. Bexhill's sea-front is currently being redeveloped, and the west promenade is open for visitors to enjoy.
