Jersey Pearl

Jersey Pearl first opened its doors to the public as the UK’s largest dedicated pearl showroom on the 5th of May 1985.  Jersey Pearl was created by Fred Scragg, his son Mike Scragg and son in law John Taylor; they’ve overseen the business for nearly 25 years keeping Jersey Pearl a true family company. Fred had seen that Jersey Pearl could take advantage of the island’s tax free status to let visitors learn about pearls, shop from a huge range of jewellery and buy something beautiful without having to pay VAT.  His idea worked and many happy visitors have found that they can visit the showroom and take home a thorough understanding about pearls as well as some lovely jewellery.
