In the history of the famous Jersey Battle of Flowers, which first began over a century ago, the creator of the exhibits in this Museum is without doubt a living legend. Miss Florence Bechelet entered her first exhibit in the Jersey Battle of Flowers as long ago as 1934, when as a young lady of just 16 years of age she became fascinated by the challenge and spectacle of this colourful annual event.
