Thirteen is based on the discovery of an unearthed ancient burial site in the Dark Forest area of Alton Towers. Take the ultimate ride on Thirteen, venturing deep into the seemingly living and breathing Dark Forest. There you will face an unknown horror that has been unleashed from an ancient crypt! Opened in March 2010 the ride cost around £15 million and looks set to bring thousands of visitors from around the world to visit Alton Towers in the Summer of 2010.

Rita
Hold onto your eyeballs as you're catapulted from 0-100km/ph in 2.5 seconds! Using a hydraulic launch system you reach 60 mph in 2.2 seconds. Rita cost around £8 million and opened in April 2005.

Oblivion
You know you shouldn’t look down, but you won’t be able to stop yourself taking a peek at the colossal vertical drop.

Nemesis
Nemesis has been operating since 1994 and was Europes first inverted coaster. It remains a crowd pleaser till today, and in fact is rated amongst the top roller coasters in the world.
